Internet services across Pakistan were disrupted on Sunday morning for about 38 hours due to a fault in the India-Middle East-Western Europe submarine cable.
Several flights and other business that depends directly or indirectly on internet were affected.
Later the Internet services were restored after the disruption caused by the fault in the undersea internet cable.
“A fault has occurred in IMEWE due to which users will experience slow internet browsing whereas another international cable system SEA-ME-WE 4 is already under repair by the international consortium,” told Sikandar Naqvi, an official of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL).
The international cable which has developed fault stretches from India to France via middle east.
