AHMEDABAD: Gujarat police seized 2000 rupees fake notes worth about 1 crore during their investigation. The police took this action on Sunday. Surat Crime Branch has raided several places and arrested 5 people, including a priest of the temple. The police conducted the raid on secret information given by an informer, in which 5013 fake currency of 2 thousand has been seized.

Fake 2 thousand notes of 50 lakh rupees have been found from a room in this temple. The police has arrested the temple priest Radha Raman Swamy. Due to the presence of people in the temple during the day, printing of notes was done here.

On the basis of secret information, the team of Crime Branch raided a farmhouse in Kamrej in Surat. From this place, Prateek Chodwadia was caught with a fake 203 note of 2000 rupees. When asked to symbolize, he gave the names of 3 other people besides the priest, Praveen Chopra, Kalu Chopra, and Mohan Vadhurade.
