After a man climbed to the top of the high tension power cable tower on Sunday evening to save himself from a group of miscreants, Assam Power Minister rushed to the spot with a team of police and SDRF.
Aman climbed atop a high voltage electric tower in Assam to save his life from a group of miscreants on Sunday. Assam Power Minister, Bimal Bora, had rushed to the spot at Deepor Beel near the Pamohi area on the outskirts of Guwahati to rescue the man.
According to the reports, the man, identified as Pradip Das, climbed to the top of the high tension power cable tower on Sunday evening after he was chased by a group of youths.
On being informed about the incident at night, the Assam Power Minister, along with teams of police and SDRF, rushed to the area. They safely rescued the man, who is a resident of the Gorchuk area.
Pradip Das, who works in a medicine company godown at the Ambari area of Guwahati, said a group of four youths had tried to attack him.
“I climbed atop the electric tower to save my life. Four unidentified miscreants tried to attack me. To save my life, I ran away and climbed to the top of the electric tower,” Pradip Das said.
Later, the man was taken to the Gorchuk police station.
