BAREILLY: Like every year, this year too Urs-E-Razvi was celebrated with much fervor, love and enthusiasm. Urs-e-Razvi which commenced on 24th November,Thursday witnessed the arrival of millions of followers from around the world, gathered to pat their respects to Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Fazile Barelvi.
With the ritual of “Chadar Peshi” being a remarkable one this year, as chadars from many including Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Harish Rawat and Sheikh Turba Nazi, who owned a Turkish publication stall at the Urs this year.
At the 98th Urs-E-Razvi, a special message from Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan was sent to Subhani Miyan by Sheikh Turba Nazi, as well as the chadar sent by him was submitted to the Dargah under Mufti Saleem Noori.
Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi arrived at the Dargah alongwith National Secretary Shakeel Ahmed.
While on the behalf Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat and Indira Hridayesh from Haldwani Market Committee, Sumit Hridayesh arrived with the Chadar.
