Israeli regime continues to demolish Palestinian homes

The Israeli regime’s Supreme Court has given the go-ahead for the demolition of Palestinian homes in the Silwan district.

In the process, Israeli bulldozers demolished tanks and stores in the Wadi Yassoul district of Silwan.

The Supreme Court of Israel has authorized Qods town hall to demolish all 70 houses, home to some 500 Palestinians.

“The inhabitants of this neighborhood are trying to get permission to build houses, but the occupying regime gives them no authorization,” said one resident.

The bulldozers of the Israeli regime demolished on Wednesday, April 17 the house of Salih Barghouthi, a Palestinian martyr in the city of Kubar in the north of Ramallah.

The West Bank is no longer the enclave against which the Israeli military can launch armed actions whenever they wish.
Israeli authorities, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, flout UN Security Council resolutions that prohibit further settlement and expropriation of Palestinian land.

“Arab and Palestinian leaders plan to refer the issue of Israeli settlement to the Security Council,” said PLO Executive Committee Secretary Saeb Erekat.
Tel Aviv’s actions against the Palestinian people have increased in recent months, particularly thanks to President Donald Trump’s broad support for Israel.

After Palestinian-led operations against the regime in the West Bank, Netanyahu ordered the construction of 82 new residential units in the city of Ofra and two new industrial cities.
