Trump sacks adviser for disagreeing on US Afghan policy


Washington. Donald Trump sacked his adviser Sebastian Gorka from his administration on Friday over US Afghan Policy. He was ousted by US president a week after senior strategist Steve Bannon resigned on August 18.

Gorka was one of the key member of nationalist faction led by Bannon. On the condition of anonymity an official of White house said “Sebastian Gorka did not resign, but I can confirm he no longer works at the White House”.

Gorka is reportedly believed to have disagreed with President Trump’s decision to remodel the United States policy in Afghanistan.

According to a report in The New York Timesthe president’s new chief of staff, John Kelly has also showed very little interest in Gorka continue in the White House.

However an official confirmation is still awaited in this case from White house.
